Sarah Stammen CPA

Sarah Stammen is a CPA and Shareholder at McCrate, DeLaet & Company, and an Investment Advisor Representative with United Planners.  Sarah started at McCrate, DeLaet & Company right out of college in 2006 and has built her career and client base.  Her primary responsibilities include tax planning, compliance, financial statement preparation, estate and transitional planning, and operating QuickBooks. Sarah specializes in working with a variety of small businesses across several industries, including agriculture, agribusiness, manufacturing, machine shops, construction and excavation, insurance, and medical and veterinary practices.

Throughout her career, Sarah has been dedicated to honing her skills and expanding her experience. She has obtained the Certified Public Accountant® (CPA®) designation as well as the FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's in Business Administration specializing in Accounting.  She also has a master's degree in Accounting from Bowling Green State University.

Sarah finds immense satisfaction in her job, particularly in collaborating with business owners who are deeply passionate about their work. It's truly an honor for her to work with several fourth-generation businesses, witnessing the pride these families take in continuing the legacy their ancestors began.

Outside of work, Sarah is actively involved in several organizations. She is a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs, the AICPA, and the Sidney Rotary Club. She serves as Co-Chair of the Fort Recovery Combined Charities and is a past member of Women in Leadership of West Central Ohio.  She is also a member of a local sorority, Psi Iota Xi, furthering her commitment to community engagement. Sarah resides just outside of Fort Recovery on a grain, swine, and poultry farm, with her husband, Tim, and their three children.
